Bangladesh's dream was shattered by losing to India in the final

Bangladesh did not win the U-17 SAFF Championship title. In the final, Bangladesh's youth lost to India by 0-2 goals.

The two teams battled hard in the first half at the Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutan on Monday (September 30). Bangladesh and India go into the break with equality. However, in the second half, India won the title by sending the ball into Bangladesh's net twice.

India's first goal came in the 58th minute. Mohammad Kaif shook the net after touching his head as it came from the corner taken by his teammate. After conceding the goal, Bangladesh could not return to parity even though they played desperately to repay it. Nazmul Huda Faisal and Apu Rahman repeatedly lost in the final third.

Saiful Bari Titu's team had to leave the field with utter disappointment when India's Mohammad Arbash hit the target in added time.
