Hamza is now the highest paid player in Sheffield

Hamza Chowdhury has joined Championship club Sheffield United on loan from Leicester City. Hamza, who joined Sheffield during the winter transfer window, receives a higher salary than others at the club.

Hamza, who is waiting to make his debut in the Bangladesh national team jersey in March, will receive a salary of 2.6 million pounds per year from Sheffield. That is about 398 million taka.

However, Sheffield initially signed Hamza until the end of the current season. As such, he will receive a salary at that rate until next June.

Sheffield United is second in the Championship table. That means they have a good chance of playing in the Premier League next season. The club may also become the champion of the Championship. When Hamza's loan period ends, Sheffield wants to sign this Bangladeshi-origin midfielder on a permanent deal.

Defender Rob Holding receives the second highest salary after Hamza in Sheffield. He receives an annual salary of 2.34 million pounds or 358 million taka. The third highest salary of 1.56 million pounds or about 238.8 million taka goes to Anel Ahmedhodzic, midfielders Gustavo Harmer, Tom Davies and Vinicius Souza.
