Chasing a huge target of 236 runs, Oman scored 100 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 10.5 overs. They were in a fighting mood. But when Amir Kalim and Hammad Mirza broke the 73-run partnership off 49 balls, Oman could not hold on.

The last seven wickets were lost for 42 runs. Kalim scored the highest 50 runs. 46 runs came from Hammad's bat. In the end, Oman were bowled out for 139 runs with 2 overs remaining. Josh Little took the most wickets for the Irish with 3 wickets.
