Juventus secures star player Kenan Yildiz's contract until 2030
Turkey midfielder Kenan Yildiz has renewed his contract with Juventus until June 2030, as announced by the Italian club on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Yildiz made his debut by scoring against Frosinone in December 2023. He has since taken on the club’s No. 10 jersey and last year became the youngest individual to captain the team.
In total, Yildiz has netted 25 goals and provided 19 assists in 115 appearances over two and a half seasons with Juventus. This season, he has recorded eight goals and five assists in Serie A.
"Kenan exemplifies leadership, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to improvement. He embodies the values of Juventus and demonstrates them on the pitch in every match he plays," stated the club.
Reports in the media indicated that the new contract positions Yildiz as the highest-paid player in the squad.
Yildiz, who was born in Germany, transitioned to Juventus Under-19s from Bayern Munich’s youth academy in 2022.
