Earlier, in response to 233 runs, India declared an innings of 285 runs after losing 9 wickets in an aggressive batting. Jaiswal and Lokesh Rahul picked up fifty in aggressive batting.

Jaiswal scored 71 off 52 balls and Rahul scored 68 off 43 balls. Shakib Al Hasan and Mehdi Hasan Miraj took 4 wickets each.
