The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is scheduled to commence on December 27. The players' draft is set to take place on October 14. This year, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) aims to conduct the BPL with the inclusion of three new franchises. Following a meeting of the BCB, President Farooq Ahmed communicated this information to the press.

Comilla Victorians will not be available in this year's BPL. There is no great Dhaka. Chittagong Challengers have been eliminated due to not complying with BCB's terms and conditions. Rajshahi is being added in place of Comilla.

And the ownership is changing in Dhaka and Chittagong. As a result, BCB is going to organize the seven-team BPL again this time.

At the press conference tonight, Farooq Ahmed said, 'The selection of the team is almost 95% final. The draft will be held on October 14.

The match is scheduled to start from December 27. Hope it stays that way. This time there are three new teams. There has been a change in the previous ownership of Dhaka and Chittagong, they will play under the new ownership. The name of Dhaka may be Dhaka Nawab.

Apart from this, Rajshahi is coming again. Who was not so long. Comilla is being left out.

This year's BPL will have DRS, Hawkeye. Farooq also said that there will be an effort to make BPL attractive. There was a lot of controversy due to the lack of DRS and hockey in the previous BPLs.
