Yusuf suddenly resigned from PCB
Mohammad Yousuf suddenly resigned as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selector. The former cricketer gave this information in a message on social media on Sunday (September 29).
Yusuf wrote in a message to X, "I am resigning from the role of selector of the Pakistan cricket team due to personal reasons. I am privileged to serve this great team and proud to contribute to the growth and success of Pakistan Cricket. I have faith in the youth and enthusiasm of our cricketers and expect great things to happen through them.”
PCB's statement on Yusuf's resignation said, "PCB expresses its sincere gratitude to Mohammad Yusuf for his invaluable contribution as a member of the selection committee. Yusuf will continue to play an important role at PCB with his deep knowledge and experience as batting coach at the High Performance Centre.
Yusuf stepped down from the post six months after taking over the role of selector. He got the duty of selector last March. Yusuf was a member of the seven-member committee formed by Mohsin Naqvi as PCB chairman.
