Wasim Akram calls for the Indian team to visit Pakistan
Legendary Wasim Akram has invited the Indian cricket team to tour Pakistan and take part in the Champions Trophy.
Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram told an online portal in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday that the Indian cricket team should visit Pakistan.
He said that many Indian star cricketers including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya have many fans in Pakistan. They want to enjoy the game of Indian cricket team in Pakistan ground.
He also said that India-Pakistan are neighbors of each other. People of both our countries should keep in touch with each other. Wasim Akram did not go to India for the last six-seven years. That's why the Pakistani star misses the people and Indian food very much.
Babar Azam is one of the best cricketers of Pakistan. New Zealand were eliminated from the series due to poor performances in recent times. Teammate Fakhar Zaman could not take his omission well. That is why he gave a status on social media in favor of Babar Azam.
In that context Wasim Akram said, this is a lesson for Fakhr Zaman, one should write thoughtfully on social media.
Not only that, Wasim Akram urged the two star pacers of the national team, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Nasim Shah, to focus more on the field than on social media.
