Mumbai Indians won their fifth consecutive game
Mumbai Indians did not have a good start to the IPL. Hardik Pandya's team won only one of the first five matches. However, after Jasprit Bumrah returned from injury, the picture changed. The team, which won one of the first five matches, won all of the next five matches.

After Rickelton's dismissal, Suryakumar Yadav took over. He returned to score 54 runs off 28 balls with four fours and four sixes. However, before being dismissed, he reached the milestone of 4000 runs in IPL. This milestone is the third fastest Indian star in terms of balls. Chris Gayle (2568) and AB de Villiers (2658) reached 4000 runs in fewer balls than him. Surya took 2714 balls.
Towards the end, Naman Dhir and Corbin Bosh played a stormy cameo innings. Dhir was unbeaten on 25 runs off 11 balls. Bosh, who made his IPL debut, scored 20 runs off 10 balls. And in that, Mumbai scored 215 runs.
