Real Madrid to bring back Argentine midfielder today

Real Madrid's homegrown player is Nico Paz. The Argentine attacking midfielder played 8 matches for Los Blancos last season and scored one goal. However, he was sent on loan to Italian club Como at the beginning of this season.

Paz has had a great season there. He played 33 matches under Cesc Fabregas and scored 6 goals. Real Madrid is therefore considering bringing the talented 20-year-old midfielder back home.

According to Spanish media, football transfer expert journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Real Madrid board is considering bringing Nico Paz back. Although he is on loan at Como, the Blancos will have to pay 8 million euros to bring him back. Florentino Perez's board has no objection to that condition.

Nico Paz was born in Spain. He joined Real Madrid's youth team La Fábrica at the age of 11. Paz made his debut for Real Castella in the 2022 season, scoring 11 goals in 49 appearances before earning a place in the Real Madrid first team.

Paz has already played two games for the Argentina national team. Albiceleste coach Lionel Scaloni sees him as a backup midfielder to Mac Allister. The young midfielder has also been named in Argentina's preliminary squad for the World Cup qualifiers in June.
