 Shakib, Rishad in Lahore's XI to fight for finals

Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United will face each other in the qualifier match of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. In this important match to ensure a ticket to the final, two Bangladeshi cricketers have got a chance in Lahore's XI.

Lahore captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has decided to bat first after winning the toss in batting-friendly conditions like Chittagong. Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and legspinner Rishad Hossain have found places in the team. Zaman Khan was dropped from the XI of the last match, and Rishad has got a chance in his place.

On the other hand, Mehedi Hasan Miraj has been kept on the reserve bench today. As a result, two of the three Bangladeshis in the XI got a chance to take the field.

Islamabad United have made three changes to their team. Haider Ali, Timal Mills and Mohammad Shahzad have been included. Ghazi Ghari, Alex Hales and Ben Duershuis have been dropped.

Islamabad United: Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Shahzad, Rasi van der Dussen, Salman Agha, Shadab Khan (captain), James Neesham, Imad Wasim, Timal Mills, Naseem Shah, Haider Ali, Salman Irshad.
