General spectators can apply for World Cup 2026 football tickets at BFF. Applications can be made from today, with the last date for applications being January 22. A fee of Tk 500 will be deposited with the application. The ticket allocation for the countries that will play in the final round of the World Cup is one, and the ticket allocation for the countries that did not play is another. Bangladesh will get a maximum of 330 tickets.


This time, the World Cup will be held in 3 countries. The United States, Mexico and Canada are the hosts. However, most of the World Cup matches will be held in the United States. This is the first time that the World Cup will be held with 48 teams. In the meantime, FIFA had released the demand for World Cup tickets to general spectators from 211 countries. Random applications have been submitted from December 11 to January 13, 500 million. Among them, spectators from Bangladesh have also applied. As a member of FIFA, Bangladesh gets some tickets. Applications have been sought for who will get them.

The largest number of applications came from Europe. Applications were submitted to FIFA from neighboring countries including Brazil, Colombia, England, Germany, Argentina. In the last two World Cups, general spectators did not have to obtain a visa. When buying tickets for the Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 World Cups, the ticket holder would be sent a fan ID. It was considered a visa at the airport. There was no need to go to the embassy with the fan ID. Once the ticket was purchased, the audience would receive the fan ID by fulfilling other rules. Only ticket holders will be able to get time for visa interviews.
