Who does Amir want to replace Babar in the 'Do or Die' match?

Former pacer Mohammad Amir suggested reorganizing the top order of the Pakistan team before the important match of the Super Eights in the ongoing T20 World Cup. He especially gave a clear opinion on Babar Azam's place in the top order.

While discussing the team's strategy in a special program on Geo News, Amir said that in the current situation, the team has to go with a balanced combination. The left-arm pacer suggested playing Khwaja Nafe in place of Babar in his proposed eleven.

According to Amir, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha and Khwaja Nafe can be kept in the top order. He also believes that if Nafe is made to bat in Babar's position, the middle order will be more dynamic. Amir also said that Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz should be played later, leaving Usman Khan as the wicketkeeper. He also hinted at taking Abrar Ahmed as a spin alternative if necessary.

In Amir's words, 'The team has to be adjusted according to the situation. Small changes can make a big difference.'

Pakistan is currently facing a tough equation in the group stage. To reach the semi-finals, it is not just a win that is needed, but a big win.

Therefore, the right decision at this moment regarding team selection and batting order can be the deciding factor.
